Brief History
ASB was started back in 1992 by Borghild Berning in Haugesund, when she saw what was
happening to the CHILDREN and FATHERS, after a bad marriage "break-up".
This "SUPER GRANDMOTHER" as I call her, - for she has undoubtly started all this OOH OOH about the Barnelov -, has accomplished that which other people have been trying to do for years, GETTING a DISSCUSION, attracting attention on the law, the plight of those involved and making people aware, and then think about new proposals for an updated BARNELOV.
Through her efforts almost all alone, she has been unbelieveably busy, attending meetings, appearing on TV, Radio shows and not least banging the heads of the politations in Oslo including the Barne og Familie Department.
We owe her a lot, for surely, without her efforts there would be no new law proposals.
